.I shall start of by introducing myself. My name is Karen Salinas, an outstanding High School student, Knowing that I will graduate next year gives me a bittersweet feeling.Theirs many goals that I want to accomplish till then, and I know in my heart I will. I dream BIG, but as impossible as my dreams may seem, I know I can make them come true. We can do the "impossible" , nothing can stop us but ourselves. Over the years I've had many people tell me what I can, and what I cannot accomplish, I can only smile at them and tell them "you never know". Your legal status should not determine how successful you're going to be in life, Your actions and choices do determine that. You can accomplish anything if you believe in yourself. I dedicate this blog to all of the 'undocumented' students who think theirs no hope for them left in this country, I'm here to tell you that their is. Don't give up!. Your work and effort does pay off at the end, and If you deserve what you want, you will obtain it.I hope that with the content of my blogs I can represent my school as well as my community very well. I'm a DREAMer. What's a DREAMer? , Yes I know we all dream and wish we had a countless amount of things we might never get. But my type of dreaming actually does come true in the end, at least that's what I believe. Many teenagers in this generation don't really take time out of their "busy lives" to sit down and write about their feelings,lives,etc. I am one of those people who want to make a difference, either in the world or in someone else's lives. As I write about my optimistic views of life you'll realize what kind of differences I am speaking of.I want to reach into people's hearts and fill them with HOPE. Teenagers, Adults, Parents everyone is welcomed to read about my life-long lasting dream. A dream that you and me probably have in common, I know I can make I change, I will make a change.
